HePEUGEOT XUD11, of the HUD family, is a diesel engine designed and manufactured by PSA – Peugeot and Citroën. It is an indirect injection (IDI) engine, using a version of Ricardo Consulting Engineers’ Ricardo Comet V pre-chamber cylinder head design. The engine comes in displacements of 1.8 L (1,769 cc), 1.9 L (1,905 cc) and 2.1 liters. The 2.1 has 12 valves, all displacements were built with natural aspiration or turbocharged. The Peugeot engine in the Spra Coupé is the XUD-11 AT. 2.1 liter turbodiesel, 12 valves and 87 hp at 3600 rpm.
